The primary goals of the Wayland Youth Basketball Association are as follows: 

1. To promote skill development and enjoyment of the game of basketball.
2. To promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior on and off the basketball court.

All players, coaches, parents, and spectators are expected to model and promote the core values of Wayland Youth Basketball Association. Violations of these core values could result in discipline from WYBA including, but not limited to, removal from the program.
