Tri-Town Basketball League is a recreational league with Lincoln, Wayland, and Maynard for girls grades 3rd - 4th, and boys grades 3rd - 8th. There are no tryouts required for participation in Tri-Town. All registered players will be placed on a team. Players will receive equal playing time as members of our Tri-Town teams.

Sudbury Youth Basketball is a recreational league run out of Sudbury for girls in grades 5th - 8th. This league option will only be offered if there are enough players who are interested. There is no tryout required for participation in this league.

Tri-Town League: Girls 3th-4th grade, Boys 3rd-8th grade

Games and Practice:

The Tri-Town basketball season typically starts at the end of November (after Thanksgiving) or early December and games are played on Saturdays starting the first week of December.  Away games could take place in Lincoln, or Maynard. Practices are once a week and happen on weeknights. The nights depend on coaches' availability.  The season ends by the first week of March and there are no games on weekends of Winter and February break.

Girls Sudbury League: Girls 5th-8th grade

Games and Practice:

Bantam (5th/6th): practices and games are typically on Wednesdays (7 – 8 pm)

Cadet (7th/8th): practices and games are typically on Wednesdays (8 – 9 pm)

The 2022-2023 days and times are still to be confirmed. 

This season will start in early November and playoffs start the week of February 27th. Additional/Optional Practices: If SYB can secure more gym space, additional/optional practices may be offered on a couple weekends.

In order for the league to run, there will be players from Sudbury and Lincoln as well. We will do our best to try to get Wayland players on the same team as at least one friend.  Please email Steph Galloway (Tri-Town and Sudbury commissioner) at tritown@waylandbasketball.org with any questions.
