Greetings from Wayland Youth Basketball!

We hope this finds you well and enjoying the final weeks of summer with family and friends. For us, this time of year is always met with mixed emotion, as we are sad to see summer ending but excited for another basketball season to be drawing nearer!

With that, here are a few updates on the 2022-2023 season:

We are pleased to announce that ALL of our WYBA programs and leagues will be offered this season, including the return of our K-2 Winter Basketball Academy! We will also be offering a new program, launching the WYB Skills Academy series as an included free benefit for our members! Registration for all programs will open on Tuesday, September 6. WYBA leadership update:

On behalf of WYBA, and the greater Wayland community, we’d like to acknowledge and thank former WYBA President Leanne Mason, Metrowest Commissioner Mark Mason, and Scheduling & Equipment coordinators Nell Getz and Daisy Powers, for all of their efforts, contributions, and dedication to our community and to Wayland Youth Basketball. Thank you all for everything!

While they all leave big shoes to fill, WYBA is excited to be returning several veterans to our Board of Directors as well as welcoming our new WYBA President, Donny Guerinoni. Donny comes to us with over 20 years of college basketball coaching experience, most recently spending the last 7 years on the Harvard University Men’s Basketball coaching staff. His previous stops include Stanford, LSU, and TCU. Rounding out our leadership team, we return many familiar faces, longtime Wayland residents, and active supporters of Wayland Youth Sports in:
