Wayland Youth Basketball Association (WYBA) is an organization that provides instructional and competitive basketball programs for girls and boys in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Primary goals of the Wayland Youth Basketball Association
- WYBA seeks to educate its youth through athletics participation while strengthening and building positive self esteem, joy for the game of basketball, and skills for both on and off court success.
- WYBA will prioritize the positive development of our youth through promoting sportsmanship, integrity, resilience, and a team-first culture. Learning how to win (and lose), the RIGHT way.
Participation in the MetroWest League through WYBA is open to all players who live in Wayland and to METCO students attending Wayland Schools. Players who do not live in Wayland but attend Wayland Public Schools (even if not part of the METCO program) are eligible to participate in the Tri-Town League and K-2 Program along with Wayland residents and METCO students.
